ABOUT THE BID
The Newport Now Business Improvement District (BID) began operations in 2015 after a successful ballot of city centre businesses in 2014.
In line with legislation, the BID re-balloted businesses in late 2019 and began its second five-year term in 2020.
The BID oversees the marketing and management of the city centre, representing more than 600 businesses during its first two terms – delivering projects in partnership with businesses and local authorities aimed at making the city centre a better place to work, visit and live.
"Kymin Financial Planners have used several schemes that Newport Now have introduced for their members over the last few years. We managed to obtain a reduction in our electricity bills after engaging with their Savings Advisory Service, the graffiti removal on the side of our offices, along with a shopfront improvement grant which went towards the painting of the front of our building. I would urge businesses within the Newport Now BID area to get in contact and see how their services can also help you."
Robin Hall, Managing Director, Kymin Financial Planners
