We recently sent out an invitation to the BID's first open meeting of 2024, which takes place at the Mercure Hotel in Upper Dock Street on Thursday, March 28 and includes the BID's formal annual general meeting.
Arrival is from 5.30pm with free drinks on arrival, and the AGM starting at 6pm with the open meeting following immediately afterwards.
We are required to provide formal notice of the AGM 14 days in advance of the meeting, so please see this at the top of this article. This has also been sent put via email to BID members, and posted on our Facebook and X pages.
At the open meeting, there will be presentations from Gwent Police, Newport City Council, and the BID - with the opportunity to ask questions after each presentation.
As per the previous invitation, please RSVP by email to kevin@kevinwardmedia.com by close of play on March 15. It would be great to see a big attendance at the meeting, to ensure the voices of city centre businesses are being heard.
