Two chances to win at this weekend's Food Festival

Visitors to this weekend’s Newport Food Festival have the chance to win city centre gift cards worth £150 in two competitions.
As part of its support of the Food Festival this year, Newport Now is running the competitions via its city centre app.
The Food Festival Trail opens the event across the city centre, with visitors encouraged to follow a route through the area scanning QR codes in shop windows as they go.
Using the Newport Now app to scan the codes in the windows of five businesses – Secrets of Cymru in Kingsway, La belle femme boutique in Llanarth Street, Gallery 57 Ltd in Upper Dock Street, Arcadia Coffee House in High Street, and R J Phillips Interiors in Bridge Street – will see visitors automatically entered into a prize draw.
The first prize is a £50 Newport Now gift card and a food hamper packed with goodies from festivals stalls. There are also two runners-up prizes of £25 gift cards.
The trail goes live on the Newport Now app tomorrow (October 2).
A £50 gift card is also up for grabs via a separate competition on the app. The competition is now live and all you need to do to enter is download the app, navigate to the ‘Win’ section, and click on ‘Enter’.
The city centre app is available on the Apple and Google app stores. Just search for ‘Newport Now’.
The Newport Now gift card can be spent with more than 40 businesses in the city, including big brands like Boots, Primark, Wagamama and The Entertainer, and an array of independent businesses such as Bar Piazza, Davies Florist, Le Pub and Diverse Vinyl.
